About Us
The Heart Behind the Practice
After 3 years of refining our approach to private dental care in North Carolina, our family felt a clear calling to return home to Florida. Driven by a desire to be closer to family and a community we truly resonate with, we believe we have been tasked with a unique mission: to serve our neighbors through a brand of dentistry that is as sophisticated as it is sincere. This is the third practice we have built from the ground up, and it represents the culmination of two decades of clinical mastery and a deep-seated belief that every patient deserves a personalized, world-class experience.
At Love Dental, we move away from the "one-size-fits-all" approach of modern dentistry. Instead, we lean into a philosophy of individualized care: one where hospitality, thoroughness, and genuine connection are the foundation of every visit. Our faith guides our dedication to being "others-minded," ensuring that our standards remain high and our interactions remain wholesome, honest, and cheerful. We aren’t just here to treat teeth; we are here to make a lasting difference in the lives of the people we serve, combining a modern, luxury environment with the down-to-earth warmth of a family-run practice.
Meet Our Doctor
Joshua Belof, DMD
Hi! I am so glad you took the time to visit our website and learn more about me, my team, and this office. I am now in my 20th year of practicing dentistry, and I absolutely love it. My favorite part of dentistry is meeting new people and making long term connections with them. Nothing better than getting hugs and home baked goods from my patients!
I got started in dentistry in 1999, when my family’s dentist, Dr. Jeff Weihe offered me a job in his office. For minimum wage, I would clean the office, get his coffee, wash his car, and plant the termite traps outside. Eventually I graduated to assisting him clinically and working at the front desk. He also took me under his wing and taught the most important lesson I would ever learn- dentistry is about people, not about teeth.
Now, my career path during college actually was NOT dentistry. That was the backup plan. I wanted to be a pilot. That plan took a turn when my mother was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away 6 weeks later. I was devastated. During her stay at Moffit Cancer Center, my heart was touched deeply by the nurses and doctors who showed great love and compassion to us. It made me want to get into healthcare to deliver that same kind of love and compassion (Love Dental, get it?)
From there, I was off to UF College of Dentistry, where I worked hard enough to earn a few rewards. Upon graduation, I went back to work for Dr. Weihe (full circle moment), where he really mentored me into the dentist I am today. I am so thankful for him, and we still talk frequently.
I was also honored to be invited back to UF to teach part time to the dental students a technology called CEREC, which is the bedrock for how I create restorations for patients today. It allows me to make your crown myself, in one visit, while you wait. No needing to return for a second visit.
I love my beautiful wife and best friend Elizabeth with my whole heart. She has given me 3 amazing daughters who fill our home with joy and laughter. I am the most blessed man in the world. We love to do vacations at the Jersey shore and on Disney Cruise boats. Among my hobbies are smoking meat on my Primo Oval ceramic cooker, flying my vintage 1958 Piper Tri-Pacer, and playing ice hockey. One of my biggest passions is seeing men transformed into better fathers, husbands, and leaders, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I lead a local men’s group involved in that, and take part in another one that is aimed specifically at dentists nationwide.
Recently my wife and I have attended a few concerts, including seeing her favorite band Third Day at the Red Rocks. That was epic. We also LOVE nature, especially the mountains. I am particularly fond of the Colorado mountains, where I’ve experienced the wonders of God in that wilderness to deep levels.
I’ve recently lost 50 pounds, and I I’d like to lose another 25 to live long and free as my children grow older. Being a man in my mid 40s, it’s so important to get my health optimized. I’d love to see you get in control of your health too! I can help you with that, at least from a dental standpoint. You cant have a healthy body without a healthy mouth!

Learn More About Nikki
Hi, my name is Nikki and I've been in dentistry for nearly 20 years. My passion is to take the fear out of dentistry by creating a warm, welcoming environment form the moment a patient walks through the door. Building genuine, personal connections with patients and making them feel valued and cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, relaxing at the beach & making memories at Disney World. This year is an exciting milestone as my beautiful daughter, Ashlyn, begins her college journey at Saint Leo University. As I embrace my new empty-nest chapter, my two French Bulldogs will be keeping me busy and well-loved.
I look forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally here at Love Dental while making a positive impact on the lives of patient's alongside our wonderful Love Dental Team.
